Gaucho Peaks Leather Company was born from a simple, yet meaningful question: "Where did you get that belt?"

My name is Rondo Roude, and I’ve worn the same belt for years—one my grandfather, a gaucho from Argentina, gave me. His stories of life on the Argentine pampas—filled with adventure, resilience, and craftsmanship—have always inspired me.

While bartending in Big Sky, Montana, I noticed a unique connection between the gaucho culture and the rugged beauty of Montana. It made me realize that both cultures share a love for the land, hard work, and strong traditions.

This connection led me to start Gaucho Peaks Leather Company, where we craft leather goods that honor my grandfather’s legacy and the spirit of both Argentina and Montana.

Every piece we create is a reminder of the timeless art of craftsmanship and the adventure that comes with living freely.
